CM efforts for Mohali inclusion under Smart City Project is a welcome step – Amarjeet Sidhu*
Mohali, June 16 – Mohali Mayor, Sh. Amarjeet Singh Sidhu (Jeeti) commends the efforts of CM, Punjab who met Union Housing and Development Minister, Sh. Hardeep Puri for including Mohali under Smart City Project. He stated it as a welcome step.
He apprised the media that prior to this meeting Former Cabinet Minister and Ex-MLA, Mohali, Balbir Singh Sidhu met Union Housing and Development Minister, Sh. Hardeep Puri and other senior BJP leadership where he strongly put forth the demand of Mohali Smart City Project.
During the meeting Balbir Singh submitted the complete portfolio report of Mohali and was given due assurance by the Minister.
He said that we are strenuously working hard to match the facilities of Mohali with International Standards, with inclusion under Smart City Project, the development of Mohali will further accelerate. He said that it is very unfortunate that the present AAP MLA from Mohali has stagnated the city growth and added no new project to ensure holistic development of the city.
He further stated that Mohali has immense possibilities to match developed cities of the country. With united efforts above politics, we can help Mohali to materialise the dream of becoming the most advanced city in the country. In these efforts we will leave no stone unturned.
